The Vanderbilt Commodores had a good basketball season in 2007-2008. They made the tourney, but came up somewhat short. They’re always competitive though… even in football. I expect big things from them in the SEC this year. Even though Vandy is tucked away on a beautiful campus doesn’t mean you can’t sing your fight song loud and proud. Mississippi State was one of the surprise teams of the SEC in 2007. They played very tough. They also were a solid team in basketball this year too.
